Should I choose a Swedish or Deep Tissue massage?

This question comes up a lot, and the simple answer is, it depends on what you need on that day!

Grace’s approach to massage is to perform Swedish massage in a therapeutic and technical manner while still delivering a relaxing, stress melting session.

Deep Tissue can also be very relaxing, but the client may have a more active role with stretching, breathing and deeper pressure. IASTM and Kinesiology Tape could be used as needed in either session.

Whichever massage you choose, Grace will work to ensure that your concerns are addressed.

How does a Prenatal Massage differ from other massages

Using a specialty body support system keeps the ribcage and hips from being impacted while in a side-lying position. When massaging the arms and legs, a gentle incline wedge allows the client to feel like they are seated back in a recliner chair. Grace has been perfecting her prenatal massage for over a decade, treat yourself or a loved one to the best pregnancy massage!

What is a La Stone Massage?

La Stone Therapy brings Mother Earth into the treatment room for an extremely grounding and balancing session that transcends the physical massage experience into deeper dimensions of relaxation and balance to the Body-Mind-Spirit connection.

This multifaceted technique uses the contrast of hot basalt and cold marble to assist the body in self healing. The ritualistic patterning and sounds of the stones along with energy connection techniques and chakra awakening make this a completely unique and gratifying experience!

What is a Lymphatic Drainage session?

Our Lymph system is a valuable part of our bodies ability to detoxify. Lymph is the vehicle for our blood to filter away cellular waste which helps to provide healthy immune function. Manual Lymphatic Drainage, or MLD, consists of light and rhythmic movements done in a specific sequence that help the transport capacity of lymph vessels. This can provide a deeply relaxing session to increase blood circulation and decongestion of the detox system.

MLD can help reduce edema and is indicated for numerous health concerns including but not limited to:

Lymphedema, Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Fibromialgia, Chronic Fatigue, Stress, Sleeping Disorders, Arthritis, Cellulite, Sinusitis, Migraines and Headaches, Parkinson’s, MS, Lupus, Vertigo, Tinnitus, Bronchitis, Bronchial Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, IBS, Ulcerative Colitis, Pre, Post and Oral Surgery, Hypertension, CTS.

Lymphatic Drainage would not be appropriate for people experiencing Congestive Heart Failure, Blood Clots, Kidney disorders, active infections or cancers. Please consult your Doctor if you are experiencing any medical condition before trying a Lymph Drainage session.
