Lesa Benton, AGPCNP-BC

Lesa is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who feels deeply honored to work with adults across the lifespan, with a special passion for those over 50. Identifying as an “older adult” herself, she is committed to reshaping how we experience and define this stage of life—centering vitality, purpose, and continued growth.

With a background as a middle and high school teacher and as the mother of a teenager, Lesa also brings a unique appreciation for adolescence and is pleased to care for patients ages 13 and older.

Her clinical approach is rooted in integrative and functional medicine, blending evidence-based care with a holistic understanding of the body. She has advanced training in metabolic optimization, hormone health, digestive wellness, ADHD support, sexual health, and cognitive longevity. Her work also includes trauma-informed care, somatic integration, craniosacral therapy, and supportive care for individuals engaging in psychedelic-assisted therapy.

At the heart of Lesa’s practice is a focus on the nervous system and the body’s innate capacity to heal. She believes that cultivating somatic awareness, resilience, and even pleasure can be powerful indicators of health and vitality. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, she collaborates closely with patients—honoring their lived experiences, personal goals, and deep knowledge of their own bodies.

Lesa practices through a lens of inclusivity and respect. She embraces health at every size, body positivity, gender inclusivity, and affirms diverse identities and relationship structures. Her goal is to create a space where patients feel seen, safe, and empowered in their care.
