Leighann Pilkington

Leighann is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adults and adolescents. She provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and comprehensive mental health care.

She believes mental health is shaped by far more than a diagnosis. Relationships, life experiences, biology, environment, strengths, and values all shape how individuals experience the world. Understanding these factors allows for care that is both evidence-based and deeply personal.

She especially enjoys working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, PTSD and trauma-related concerns, neurodiversity, grief, burnout, and major life transitions. What initially feels like a single concern often reflects many interconnected aspects of a person’s life. Exploring these connections helps guide thoughtful, individualized care.

Whether someone is seeking relief from distressing symptoms or simply wondering if life could feel different than it does today, Leighann strives to create a space where patients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Her hope is that every person who walks through her door leaves feeling more understood not only by her, but by themselves.

To her, healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about cultivating the conditions in which individuals can reconnect with themselves, recognize their strengths and resilience, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who they are.

She particularly enjoys working with patients who are motivated for growth, open to change, and seeking to build meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling lives.

In her spare time she enjoys aerial and ribbon arts. Movement is key for healing and she has experienced this first hand.
