We want this care to be cost-effective. Charges are based on the "going rate" in this geographic area. We seek to keep costs within limits. We see patients with or without insurance. We believe that each person who steps through our door is there for a reason and in this it is a privilege to participate in one's care. We will continue to see patients for whom payment becomes a problem by first offering a payment plan. We acknowledge the "state of affairs" within the United States Healthcare system (we recommend the movie "Sicko", which was endorsed by the Oregon Nurses Association to shed an awareness on that matter) and want to be in a position to offer care regardless of what changes may come. First time visits range from $200-450 depending on the complexity of the complaint(s) and time spent. Most first time and annual physical visits are 60 minutes. We spend time with our patients, and together we figure out what is best for you to be healthy.
Phone/email consults are $3/min. If Julie Foster FNP makes a suggestion or calls in a new prescription the minimum is $25. If forms and letters are requested there is a $25 fee. Quick call backs and clarification of treatments are at no charge. We ask patients to trust that Julie Foster FNP is honest about her time and service here. We offer personalized care and in order to manage our time and energy after hours and in between seeing patients in the clinic we have chosen to charge for phone consults/emails. The majority of medical providers require an in-clinic appointment for most of the health questions asked by phone or email. We offer phone/emails consults also as a convenience for patients to avoid, traveling and time expense.
PRIVATE PAY / SELF-PAY: A minimum of a $100 deposit is required at your first visit. Payment is required at time of service unless special arrangements are arranged for in advance.
We are preferred providers for most major insurance plans. Check in with our staff about your insurance then please contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage. It is ultimately up to you to know your insurance plan. We bill your insurance as a courtesy for you. Depending on the benefits of your plan you may be responsible for amounts not covered.
